Spey spring salmon
I've been trying to catch a spring salmon on the fly.
I've had some great adventures visiting lots of rivers.
My spey casting has gradually got better and better, but until this week, no springer.
On Monday and Tuesday I fished the stunning Tulchan beat on the River Spey with my friend and guide Gary Scott.
And just like that, after 4 years of effort, instant success!
